The Vagrant Dead was
formed on May 24th 2004 after New Faces of Death removed their former drummer, J.P. Days later, Keyboardist Ronster the
Monster was out with the rest of the group when they met up with one of his former bandmates Jared Lindsey: The Skeleton Boy.
He promptly took the throne. Well that was the first half of our search for a drummer that can stick. There was Korey,
I don't think he likes us very much, haha, too bad things don't work out. So after more phone calls, more auditioning drummers,
etc., etc., we've got a guy named Chris. He's pretty rockin, but doesn't have too great of taste in music. However, he is
amazed at this world of psychobilly that he has never experienced before, and he likes Batmobile. This is history in the making!
It's now
a month later and Chris says we're too scary or something, so we asked Nick to play Drums and he agreed. We went back to our
roots and are playing more horror punk type stuff. Rodd decided he'd rather dedicate himself to guitar than sing so please
welcome our new singer GRANT BAKER!
It is
now a couple weeks later, Chris won't give us back our cd. And we have a new drummer, Jeff, Rodd's younger brother. We're like
fucking Spinal Tap with these goddamned drummers. No one has exploded as of yet...
Our many influinces
include Misfits (both past and present), Samhain, Dion and the Belmonts, Black Sabbath, Pantera, Type O Negative,
each other, the people around us, the voices in our heads,assorted weapons and generally sharp things.

Screaming Lord Sutch,
Screamin'
Jay Hawkins, and so on. Steven Hawkings coreographs many of our TOTALLY heterosexual dance numbers...JAZZY HANDS!!
